I have been working in conjunction with a model maker who produces 
life-sized dinosaur models (fleshed-out).  A full sized _T. rex_ 
retails in the order of 10s of thousands not millions.  A full 
sized reconstruction of a _Velociraptor_ is only two and a half 
thousand UK pounds.  These costs are well within the reach of most 
museums with a budget for such items.  The problem is having a budget 
:-(
