Re: Favorite Living Fossil?


I like crocodilians and the tuatara(s) (may be more than one species
or at least several subspecies ...). I think reptiles on the
whole are the embodiment of living fossils. Ever see a male
green basilisk lizard with its dorsal crests in full array?
Looks like a prehistoric beast to me.
