Only if it is really a bird, *and* no theropod group is derived
from avian morphology ancestors (as Olshevsky suggests).

Maybe. Maybe not. All the evidence is not yet in.
[Actually, even as an "ancestral" bird, it is extremely unlikely
that it is actually the common ancestor of all later birds].
