Re: re: Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia
Miki Baker writes about "the Dig" at the Academy of Natural Sciences:
>There's a wonderful display of photography, but offhand I don't
>remember who did them (Can you help me out here, Mickey ?)
I confess that I haven't looked too carefully at the photographs, but
some of them I've recognized from Louis Psihoyo's new book, _Hunting
Dinosaurs_. I haven't decided to buy the book yet, but I did leaf
through it at a book store. It is filled with some great pictures, so
you can see them even if you can't make it to Philadelphia.
>Thanksgiving week-end is going to be "Dino Days", but I don't know

I happen to have a copy of one of the Academy Newsletters with me. It
says:
Dino Days
November 25-27
Kids can never get enough of dinosaurs, so give them more.
During the Thanksgiving break from school, let them play out
their fantasies through dinosaur craft-making, dinosaur
story-telling and dinosaur movies. It's all part of a special
Dino Days to accompany our newest exhibit, The Dig -- A Dinosaur
Adventure.
I think I have some more detailed information at home if you want to
know more.

P.S. Don't just pick on me... Sherry can pull her weight around here
too, you know :-) Speaking of Sherry, does anybody on the FAQs
committee want to give us a progress report?
