Dinosaurs in Washington St

I don't know if this got any publicity on here or not, but there
is a fossil hunting trip into the Okanogan valley of north central
Washington state set for this summer. The only name I can remember that
is involved is Jack Horner of the Museum of the Rockies.
The Okanogan is a micro-terrane (sp?) that is approximately 100 M
years old. To date no known fossils have been found in this area. I do
not remember the exact origin of this unit, but I THINK it's semi or sub
tropical. It's been too many years since I took Washing State Geology.
I can recall no Dinosaur age fossils ever being found in
Washington State, lots of Mammals, but no Dinos.
