I couldn't agree more. Jurassic Fight Club is a terrible program. It is inaccurate to the degree that you have to wonder if they're lying deliberately. You need only look at the must fundamental "facts" as represented by the programs, such as the scaled graphs depicting animal sizes. Look closely and you'll see that the numbers shown on the graphs don't even match the scale represented. That is, a man that's labelled as being 6 feet tall may be shown to be 2 squares tall on an a graph, but an animal depicted on the same graph may be labelled as 15 feet tall may be pictures as 7 squares tall (or 21 feet at the same scale).

I hate sensationalized crap like this. It's insulting and detrimental to the hard work done by objective scientists, and is a disservice to us all. I not only believe the show should be discontinued, I think public retractions should be required and I only wish that there were criminal penalties that could be applied.

There are a lot of youngsters out there that watch these kinds of shows and might get confused or the worst part is to be led to another way to delusion and deceit in learning about the past and even the future. Education shows or other equivalent events and promotions must be well-researched and held with utmost responsibility for the benefit of all.

Correct, History is part of A&E, not Discovery. But I concur on almost every point in your two articles on this show. I love dinosaurs as much as anyone in this world, but as soon as Blasing spoke, I had to turn it off. Very disappointing, but hardly surprising. A&E and Discovery are entertainment outlets first and foremost, not tools for education. All academics should think twice (and perhaps a third time) before associating themselves with such programming.

History Channel is not part of Discovery Channel's empire. It's associated with A&E and other networks.
