		<description>I would suggest that this is not just a phenomenon related to certain type of head anatomy. Since lacrimal and harderian glands are well known for their immunological role protecting the eyes and associated ducts by antibody secretion this type of "tear"-production may well be related to the protection of these organs against bacteria and other microbes while feeding on decaying cadavers. In that way a pharmacological study about the antibacterial potential of that "tears" would be recommended. It may well be to find something which could be therapeutic value. Dr. Hans-J.
